About

This site is where I write about automation: the container that runs at 3 a.m., the provisioning that survives a rebuild, the workflow engine that finally stopped racing itself, and the occasional robot or sensor that moved where it should not have.

The scope is deliberately wide — infrastructure and self-hosted services, container orchestration, workflow automation, scripting, configuration and update management, and the physical side (home automation, sensing, embedded, small robotics). Security appears wherever it is a property of the build or of the maintenance, not as a topic of its own.

Ground rules

  • No ads, no sponsorships, no affiliate links, no trackers.
  • The site ships as plain static HTML, CSS and a little lazy-loaded JS for the visuals. There is no analytics and no third-party code on this site — the source is a public repository if you came here from a feed reader and got curious.
  • Posts describe systems as they were built and operated. They are notes, not instructions; if a hostname or a key looks real, it is not.

Site internals

Built with Astro, native CSS and a theme generated from Radix Colors scales (a verdigris-green accent on green-tinted neutrals). Content and code are under a shared license declared in the repository.
